Located on the Atlantic coast in the region of Souss, Agadir, which means “Fortified collective attic” in Berber, is characterized by its magnificent beaches, its production of Argan oil, its souks exposing year-round a multitude handicrafts as well as its specialized jewelery and silver which propose authentic and modern models.

Aware of the cultural heritage that this city and its regions represent, our agency has been busy programming for you activities within and near Agadir to immerse you in the unique traditions and lifestyle of its Berber population.

Tour details

The departure to the city of Agadir will be from Marrakech around 7am for a duration of 2h30 drive. After your arrival, you will be able to start your tour with a tour of the city to discover its local market where various products are exposed such as argan oil. Also, you will be able to explore the port of Agadir which is the largest port in Morocco and the fish market it houses.

You will then go to the Kasbah Agadir Oufella, an old palace built during the 16th century by King Mohammad Achaikh of the Saadian dynasty. This charming place will offer you a perfect panoramic view of the port and the whole of the new city of Agadir which was built in the aftermath of the 1960 earthquake.

After this visit, you will be driven through the different neighborhoods of the city where you will stop to discover the mosque Mohamed V, the largest mosque in the region.

In the afternoon, according to your personal preferences, you will be able to escape to the sea at the edge of a boat that will take you to the heart of the Atlantic Ocean while savoring drinks that will be offered to you. (supplement of 380 DH per person)

After this wonderful experience, you will be back in Marrakech around 16h.
